Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's also a coach and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie was the first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She enjoyed playing sports and started working out at the age of five. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir will be aged 31 (by 2021). She's 5'7 and weighs 67 kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in California in 2009. She did well on her first games, finishing in the top 10 in the rankings. However she was unable to win any title she ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she managed to win her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube channel where videos of training as well as travel and family videos are shared.
