Zoe-perry
Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the character. Because of their fear of stress, the parents were not keen to let the actress pursue acting until turning 18. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry had the opportunity to secure tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. Homesickness, however, brought her back to California to return, where she started performing in the stage. Perry was a part of Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. The show featured the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of nine episodes in 2016 of ABC's show The Family. In 2017, Perry was a part-time character in ABC's political thriller Scandal in which her father was the main character. The same year her character was cast a younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again portraying a younger model of the mother's. The character was picked by auditions, even having a strong association with it.
