Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in America, is an actor. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that She joined the Bratpack and starred on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for more than 20 years. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the greatest high school films of all time. Although the film's budget was only $1 million the film's profits were more than $50 million. Meanwhile she had also started being featured in various shows on TV including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was a part of. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where she is a character. Sheedy is known for her amazing performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
