Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. In addition, she received high praise for her first television role as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed movie role. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals has been adapted for the big screen. She will be working alongside Vlas Parlapanides and Charley parlapanides. Additionally, she's filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
